The visionary game developer, renowned for co-creating the globally famous first-person shooter Call of Duty, has tragically died in a vehicle crash in California at the age of 55.

The tragic news was verified by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the video game company that he helped create.

The influential game designer passed away following his automobile collided and was engulfed in flames on a highway in LA on this past Sunday, according to.
