Wilfried Nancy stated he had no concerns about losing his job, claiming, “I believe we are really close to changing our fortunes,” in the wake of moving dangerously close to the chopping block with a heavy defeat by Rangers.
Another Meltdown Leads to Derby Defeat

He remains focused on the fact his team play well for 45 minutes at a time. Indeed, if not for missed chances they could have been more than 1-0 up. “I saw enough aside from the fact that we missed more goals,” he said. “I know that we lost, but I have also to be balanced.
“The level we had at certain moments was of top quality. That is a fact. And I would not say that if it was untrue. That is the reason, regarding outcomes, I said it's a repeating pattern. That’s why I feel we are really close to things turning around. But for the moment: the fine margins.”
“We produced many, many good things that we did, like today again. But now is sustaining it. My outlook would change the same. That’s why I am convinced the team can to get back on track.”
Opposition Reaction Response
Rangers manager played down talk of a championship push even after what appeared to be a huge result. “One match at a time, so we can really build up a challenge,” he said. “The confidence in the group is outstanding.”
